The Journey of a Messy                              Queer

Welcome to The Fight of a Lifetime. The journey of a messy queer  (Hi, nice to meet you) as she dances (and fights) with addiction and trauma and learns to heal, love and fail, all at the same time.

Follow me on a journey of being deeply wounded and also finding healing from the same source. The one thing we all desperately crave; connection. A growing collection of stories, documenting heart ache and pain,  laughter and tears, addiction and sobriety.

This is for anyone feeling alone on whatever journey you are on, I hope you find comfort in my story and my words, maybe even inspiration, as my stories touch different spaces inside of you.

Blog:

A bit about why I started this

Have you ever felt like you needed support so badly, but no one really felt safe enough to open up to? I suspect this is a common feeling and we are all suffering in silence, in a variety of ways. This website came out of a desire for me to have a space to to get my thoughts and experiences out. I have always loved to journal and have a pretty regular journalling practice, so I figured why not put it out there (some of, trust me you don't want all that out here) and who knows, maybe it will inspire someone else or maybe someone will feel a little bit less alone. Journalling has been a life saver for me, and this blog also started as an attempt to keep me focused on my goals and to never stop fighting the good fight. The fight of a lifetime.

Love,

The Messy Queer
